We are delighted to be able to share clips of our AV kids with you! To view these videos, you will need to ensure you have the Microsoft Windows Media Player installed on your system. This software comes as standard on most Windows PCs, however if you are unsure, Windows Media Player can be downloaded for free from Microsoft at this location.

Alice
Alice has a profound hearing loss diagnosed at age 16 months. She has bilateral cochlear implants which were switched on at age 18 months.
Alice graduated from AVUK age 2 3/4.

Alex age 5 3/4 (!)
In this video Alex is playing at being teacher. Alex has a severe/mixed hearing loss. It's quite clear the he has "a honey of a teacher".

Max has a severe bilateral hearing loss. He has been living in England for the past three years and came regularly to AVUK until he 'graduated' at age 3 years 9 months.

In this clip Max is 4 years 11 months. He started AVT as a baby and 'graduated' age 3 years 9 months.
This is a clip from when Max came in to say goodbye as he returned to the USA that summer. Max tells us about how you need to eat food to grow and become human!

Sarosha is profoundly hearing impaired and received a cochlear implant when she was 2.

Nadia received a cochlear implant at age 3. Her profound hearing impairment was diagnosed at 2 years and she started Auditory-Verbal therapy shortly afterwards .

Petra lost her hearing through meningitus at 12 months, and joined the AV programme when she was 2.

Topaz and Sade
Sisters Topaz and Sade have now both 'gradated' from the Auditory Verbal Programme. Both sisters use cochlear implants. Here are two clips from December 2005, in which they send us their christmas greetings.

Topaz
Topaz here aged 4.7, tells us one of her favourite stories! Topaz started AVT as a baby and graduated just before her 4th birthday in April 2005.

Sade left us in September 2003, and two years later, aged 6 1/2 , she sends us a Christmas update of what she's been doing at school. Sade started AVT aged 6 months and graduated age 4 1/2.
