Supporting children in mainstream school

In Auditory Verbal Therapy it is expected that children with hearing impairment will succeed in mainstream school, provided they are given appropriate support. The course is designed to give professionals working with hearing-impaired children practical suggestions to facilitate children's access to the curriculum through listening. Topics covered include: Managing the listening environment, managing children's hearing technology, understanding children's behaviour, facilitating adult-child and child-child interaction.
