Seeing the bigger picture is key to making AVT effective for you and your child with a hearing impairment. This half-day course offers parents who are new to AV^UK the opportunity to find out more about AVT and meet other parents who are embarking on this approach. Topics covered will include: The goals, principles and practice of AVT, working with your local support team, and advocating for your child in his statement of educational needs.
