AVT In Practice – What's The Difference?

An essential one-day course for anyone working with a child with a hearing impairment. This course takes an in-depth look at the Auditory Verbal approach to developing spoken language through listening. This course will include direct-teaching, open discussion and plenty of video footage to illustrate AVT in practice. Following this course participants will have an understanding of the principles and characteristics of good practice in AVT and an understanding of how AVT differs from traditional oral approaches.
