The AV UK Circle
Welcome to the AV UK circle! We've set up this mailing list to enable
people connected to AV UK to more easily connect with each
other. We hope this will help us share news, ideas, experiences etc.
***For current list members: the name of this list has changed to the AV UK cicle! However, it is identical to the previous list (called OxfordAVcirlce), it works in the same way as the old list, you post to it in exactly the same way (send your message to OxfordAVcircle@topica.com), and it automatically consists of the same members!***
How does it work?
You send your message to: OxfordAVcircle@topica.com.
The mailing list forwards your message to everyone on the list.
Each message automatically has "[AV UK - previously Oxford AV - Circle]" inserted in the header
so that it's easily recognisable.
Replies to your message go to everyone on the list.
What sort of mail is appropriate?
Anything short & simple, that ISN'T private. It can be quite specific e.g.
does anyone have experience of the Micro link FM System? or more general
e.g. where can I find out about digital hearing aids?, How long does it take
to assess children for an implant?
What other lists work like this?
CICIRCLE (mainly parents in USA)
AVCIRCLE
CIFORUM (mainly adult CI users in USA)
Does it cost anything?
No, it's free.
Who's on the list?
Basically, it's families and professionals connected to Jacqueline Stokes.
If you send a blank email to OxfordAVcircle-who@topica.com, you can see
who's currently on the list.
The list is "invitation only" like a private club i.e. anyone who wants to
subscribe has to be OK'd by a list owner. If you'd like to be a list owner,
please send an email (saying so) to OxfordAVcircle@topica.com.
How can I get off the list?
Send a blank email to: OxfordAVcircle-unsubscribe@topica.com.
How can I join the list?
Send a blank email to: OxfordAVcircle-subscribe@topica.com.
How do I send messages to the list?
Put your message in an email to OxfordAVcircle@topica.com.
Can I read the messages on the web?
Yes, past messages are at http://www.topica.com/lists/OxfordAVcircle/read
.
Thanks for joining!
