Welcome!
Welcome to Auditory VerbalUK, the only national charity committed to the Auditory Verbal approach to helping hearing-impaired children acquire listening and spoken language skills.
Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) is a special way of teaching hearing impaired children to listen and talk. Widely used throughout North America and Australasia, it is delivering impressive results and enabling even profoundly deaf children to take their place alongside their hearing peers in mainstream education and society. Two of the four Certified Auditory Verbal Therapists® in the UK form part of our dedicated team of professionals.
