News from our AVT graduates: Sarosha
We would like to share our proud moment yesterday when Sarosha received a merit award from the examiner in the introductory exam held by LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Award).
Sarosha was asked to recite a chosen poem "Cat Kisses" by B Katz:
"Sandpaper kisses on a cheek or a chin
That is the way for a day to begin!
Sandpaper kisses - a cuddle a purr.
I have an alarm clock that's covered with fur"
The examiner commented "this delightful poem came to life with such a smile and enjoyed word play. Words are magical when you play with them."
She then had to talk about her favourite bear "Eddy" and explained that he was named after her granddad.
As you can see we are so pleased with her achievement! It seems the examiner, who was a complete stranger, had no problem understanding what Sarosha was trying to tell her and appreciated her efforts.
